East Region Preview

The last region I'm previewing is the East region. It's probably the most wide open, with Michigan suffering an injury to one of their star players, making them vulnerable. They also got a tough draw, with tons of dangerous teams lurking all over the bracket. Do I have them getting upset? Read on to find out. As always, follow me on Twitter @ThreePointRange for my thoughts on the tournament as it's happening, and click here  for all of my March Madness content. Enjoy the weekend. 1. Michigan vs 16. Texas Southern Line:  Michigan -26.5, o/u 142 Preview:  Texas Southern beat Mount St. Mary's in the opening First Four game, and earned the right to come take on Michigan. John Walker III, a Texas A&M transfer, had 19 points and 9 rebounds for the Tigers, and he'll have to do that again to win this one. Michael Weathers will also need to get going, as the leading scorer for Texas Southern struggled in the first game of the tournament, and he'll need a big one if t

West Region Preview

It was great to see NCAA Tournament basketball back last night, and boy was it fun. Both teams in this region that played last night were in close, exciting games, both being decided by just one point. If that's a sign of even half of what's to come this weekend, then we are in for a thrilling tournament. Anyways, here is my preview of the West region. The favorite heading into March, Gonzaga, headlines the region and they'll be looking to stay perfect, being the first team to do so since Indiana in 1975-76. There's also some other really good teams in this one, and some matchups I'm really excited about, so let's dive in. Also, be sure to follow me on Twitter @ThreePointRange to stay up to date with my thoughts throughout the tournament, and click here  to see all of my other previews, along with anything else you may want in terms of March Madness content from me. 1. South Region Preview

Up next is the South region, which features the Baylor Bears as the 1 seed, and some double digit seeds that should be scary to their opponents. It's one of the more interesting regions in my opinion, and, spoiler alert, I have a double digit seed advancing to the Sweet 16 here, so be sure to read on to see my reasoning for that. I should have both the East and West previews out tomorrow, hopefully before the action kicks off, but I'm waiting on the First Four games to be final to put the finishing touches on those two previews. Of course, be sure to follow me on Twitter @ThreePointRange to know when those articles come out and see my thoughts during the games tonight. If you want to see my previews for those games and what I'll be betting, you can do so here . We've finally made it to NCAA Tournament basketball, so enjoy it tonight. 1. Baylor vs  16. Hartford Line:  Baylor -25.5, o/u 140 Preview:  Let's start with the good for Hartford. For them, it all starts on t

Midwest Region Preview

Starting off my region by region previews is the Midwest. Headlined by Illinois, it's got a ton of great teams, and especially some great players. It also has my Syracuse Orange, so it's the region I've spent the most time looking at, trying to figure out the route for the Orange to make a Final Four run. I'll have the South preview up tomorrow sometime from 1-2, and then the West and East will go up on Friday, after we get the results from the First Four. If you want to be the first to know when you can see them, follow me on Twitter @ThreePointRange where I'll be talking about the tournament as it happens, as well as posting whatever blog updates come along. Without further ado, let's dig into some hoops.  1. Illinois vs 16. Drexel Line: Illinois -23, o/u 144 Preview:  I mean look, Illinois is going to win this game. They're going to win it handily. Ayo Dosunmu and Kofi Cockburn alone are enough to beat Drexel. Add in all the other studs the Fighting Illin
