Who Am I?

With the college basketball season now over, I wanted to take some time to talk about myself. I gained a lot of new readers over the course of the year, and I realized that most of them know very little about me. So, I quickly wanted to go through some stuff about myself as well as a look forward to what I have upcoming with the end of the season.

So first, a little about myself. My name is Kevin Perry, and I am a freshman at Syracuse University, majoring in Sport Analytics. I am originally from New Jersey, and I was a varsity basketball player back in my high school days. I first got into college basketball with Trey Burke and Michigan, and I really enjoyed watching that team play. I began following the sport more closely outside of March, watching a lot of Michigan with my love for John Beilein's offense, and I really enjoyed a lot of those teams with guys like Nik Stauskas, Caris Lavert, and Derrick Walton. I am of course now a fan of Syracuse, but I never let my fandom get in the way of my journalistic integrity. I decided to start this blog last March to talk about college basketball after watching a ton of games throughout the year and having no one to talk to about them, and this seemed like a good outlet for it. I grew throughout the year, and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has read throughout the year. I really appreciate all the support I've gotten, and I am really excited to keep putting out some fun stuff.

Speaking of which, I wanted to give a quick look ahead to the offseason. I asked on Twitter, follow me @ThreePointRange, and I got an overwhelming response in favor of me putting out a Way, Way Too Early Top 25, which I have out now, so be sure to check that out. I would love for you to tell me why your favorite team is too low, so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks about that. I also have a series on offseason questions for each Power 6 team as well as some other top teams in the country. I will do some NBA Draft stuff, with my April Fool's post about Big Bird as a prospect non-withstanding, so be on the lookout for that. After that, I'll probably take a bit of a summer break before starting to do some season preview stuff. I'll be active on Twitter talking about recruits, transfer, coaching changes, and a bunch of other stuff, so be sure to follow me there as I said earlier. And if you want me to do anything, let me know there. I'm open to doing whatever all of you want to see, so let me know what you're interested in reading.

I really do just want to thank everyone for reading my stuff. I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to listen to what I have to say about college basketball, and all of the support I received throughout the year. I really love doing this, and the fact that some people are reading and enjoy it as well is great, so thank all of you for your support. Seriously, if you're reading this, I really appreciate you and I can't wait to share more college basketball content with you throughout this long offseason. And if you miss college basketball already, there's just 211 days left until November 6. Oh and by the way, Virginia starts their title defense on that day in the Carrier Dome. That I truly cannot wait for. Be on the lookout for more content soon and once again thank you all for reading, interacting and your support, it really means a lot to me and I look forward to keeping that up in the coming months.

ACC Preview

After a long summer, I have returned to the college basketball blogging game. I apologize for taking such a long time off, but I've been keeping up with everything in the world of college basketball, and I'm excited to get back into the swing of things. We start off my preseason coverage with a league that is near and dear to my heart, the ACC. For those of you who don't know, I'm a Syracuse student and fan, but I try not to let my bias get in the way of my journalistic integrity. I'll have tiered rankings, but the order I give is the order I expect them to finish. As for the ACC itself, after years of dominance, this season figures to be a bit of a down one, with the bottom half of the conference being very weak. As always, let me know your thoughts on the conference and where you may disagree with my predictions on Twitter @ThreePointRange, and be sure to check back throughout the next few days for my previews for the other conferences. Predictions for the Remaining Transfers

As we move into June, many of the rosters in college basketball have really begun to take shape. There are very few impact recruits left, and the deadline for withdrawing from the NBA Draft has passed, so rosters are really shaping up. However, there are a few impact transfers still available, both sit out guys and graduate transfers, so I decided to break down where they might land. Be sure to follow me on Twitter @ThreePointRange, and let me know what you think of these destinations, and what schools you think these players should go to. Sit Out Players Devonaire Doutrive, SG, Arizona A top 75 player coming out of high school last year, Doutrive struggled to find playing time with the Wildcats in year one and elected to transfer out of the program in search of greener pastures. Despite underwhelming during his time in Tuscon, there should be a long line of schools interested in bringing him into the program. He could return home to Texas and play for Houston, who need guard he
